Opticians always seems to be running late, ended up spending and hour and a half in there for the whole process. Once my eye test was other the assistants were very helpful with the glasses process, the trainee Hannah was very friendly and double checked with other members of staff to check that it was all ok to make sure the correct order was out through.

The appointment and optometrist and prescription were fine, the Maldon premises is NOT good. It is very small with very little privacy , the rooms are non-existent, the stairs are steep and dangerous for older patients (up and down) there is no room to turn around. With all the new building and houses being constructed in Maldon there will be insufficient space to cope with the extra patients so Boots will loose customers who will go to more spacious Opticians. The Maldon shop cannot cope with pushchairs or wheelchairs or mobility chairs or families with small children.
